Running in Christchurch Park

This metal abstract scuplture was inspired by German Sculpturist Edda Sandstede and represents a 5km run I did on a warm July morning around Christchurch Park, Ipswich. The steel band signifies the contours of the run, the uprights represent soundwaves I recorded and the open and closed ends symbolise my breathing pattern.
